2010 EDMONTON JOURNAL LITTLE BIG RUN

MAY 30, 2010

View 1 km, 5 km & 10 km Route Map!

The Big Event on Sunday, May 30 is less about running, but rather about getting healthy and coming together as a community for a common goal......FUN!   Join as a team, family (or group of families!), or as a single participant in either the 10 km, 5 km or 1 km.  All you need is a pair of running shoes and a positive attitude!

The Little Big Run has become one of the City of Edmonton’s premier lifestyle programs, having evolved from a single weekend event, to an active lifestyle, fitness and health movement. Founded by the University of Alberta and Capital Health in 2007, The Edmonton Journal’s Little Big Run was created to encourage healthy living. With key support also from the City of Edmonton, the vision is for thousands of people and families to “spring into action” during the last weekend of May to promote physical fitness and energetic community living.
